J J Links will treat all your Personal Information as confidential (although we reserve the right to disclose this information in the circumstances already outlined.). We will keep it on a secure server and we will fully comply with all applicable UK Data Protection and consumer legislation.
J J Links does not disclose buyers' information to third parties.
Data collected at shopping section of the site is used to:
- Take and fulfil customer orders
- Administer and enhance the site and service
- Only disclose information to third-parties and business partners for goods delivery and fulfilment purposes
When you shop on this Website, we will ask you to input and will collect Personal Information from you such as your name, e-mail address, billing address, delivery address, telephone number, product selections, credit card or other payment.
You should be aware that if we are requested by the police or any other regulatory or government authority investigating suspected illegal activities to.
Shipping and Handling
Please accept all shipping prices as estimates on the web site. For large pieces of products quotations will be sought for the cheapest, suitable and most efficient delivery to you.
For smaller items we use Parcel Force for delivery. When all products are in stock your order should be with you 7 – 14 days. If however items are not available in stock your order will be with you 4 – 6 weeks as we have to get shipment from Africa. Please note that at times if items are out of order it can even take longer than 6 weeks as it depends on when we receive goods from Africa. We will try our level best to get your items delivered to you as quickly and promptly as possible.
International Deliveries
Quotations will be sought for each purchase made, and you will be advised before your purchase is processed.
Delivery Schedule
Smaller items are normal dispatched the day after your order. Parcel Force will deliver these to you. If you require a tracking number please call 0870 350 1748 or email help@jjlinks.co.uk. It is better for you to follow your delivery with Parcel Force yourself and they can be reached on 0800884422. Larger items will be dispatched using selected shipping partners. These will be handled individually and we will be able to advise you who is handling your shipping, and give you tracking details if applicable.
Back Orders
If the item you order is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait. We suggest that if you want to guarantee delivery a 50% deposit be made on back orders. Failure to make a deposit will mean that any paying customer will receive preference.
Our products come from beautiful slow Africa. They are lovely people, but have special slow watches over there, and what we call 'African Time', which basically means what you can put off for tomorrow... do put off for tomorrow. We will endeavour to expedite orders, but delivery can take up to six months for some items. We will try to give you more accurate expectations on delivery, and work on a philosophy of ‘UNDER promise... the try to OVER deliver’. But even this cannot protect us against the phrase 'There is no rush in Africa' so bear with us please.
Making a Purchase
Making a purchase with J J Links could not be easier. Just browse our Catalogue, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart by clicking ‘add to card’ button. After you have finished your selection, click on "Check Out Now" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.
We accept credit card payment. If you are shopping from anywhere other than UK, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction. Please note that any order outside the UK will be subject to special delivery charges. We accept Visa and Mastercard.
After payment has been made your order will be processed as soon as possible. If you have made a bulk order and paid your 50% deposit we will require the balance before your shipment can be sent out to you.
Non-acceptance of an order may be a result of one of the following:
- The product you ordered being unavailable from stock
- Our inability to obtain authorisation for your payment
- The identification of a pricing or product description error
- You not meeting the eligibility to order criteria set out in the main Terms & Conditions
- If there are any problems with your order, you will be contacted by us.
- The sales contract is therefore completed in England.
- We reserve the right to reject any offer to purchase by you at any time.
We will take all reasonable care, in so far as it is in our power to do so, to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but in the absence of negligence on our part we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from the Website.

Remittance Terms - Payment
All prices are inclusive of VAT (where applicable) at the current rates and are correct at the time of entering the information onto the system. The total cost of your order is the price of the Products ordered plus delivery charges. Payment can be made by any of the methods specified in the Payment section of this Website and payment will be debited and cleared from your account as set out in the Payment section of this Website.
- You confirm that the credit, debit that is being used is yours.
- All credit/debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to or does not, for any reason, authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.
Use Of The Website
You are provided with access to this Website in accordance with these Conditions and any orders placed by you must be placed strictly in accordance with these Conditions.
You warrant that:
The Personal Information which you are required to provide when you register as a customer is true, accurate, current and complete in all respects; and you will notify us immediately of any changes to the Personal Information by contacting our Customer Service Representatives by e-mail, or calling us on 0870 350 1748 between 8am-8pm.

Description Of Products
All the pieces of copper products we sell are unique individual items and although the general product shape and specifications will be the same the character will be entirely unique and individual. Please do not expect the item you receive to look like the picture Our products are handmade and the weight may vary slightly as well.
Each Product purchased is sold subject to its Product Description which sets out additional Specific Conditions related to that Product including, without limitation, terms and conditions concerning estimated delivery dates and times, warranties, after-sales service and guarantees.
We will take all reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices of Products appearing on the Website are correct at the time when the relevant information was entered onto the system. Although we aim to keep the Website as up to date as possible, the information including Product Descriptions appearing on this Website at a particular time may not always reflect the position exactly at the moment you place an order, and certainly may not reflect the exact character of the individual product.
We cannot confirm the price of a Product until your order is accepted in accordance with our Order acceptance policy.
